How do you want to use the simpleSwitch?
Branch Circuit Sharing
simpleSwitch 240 is designed to share one (1) circuit between two (2) electrical devices.
Power is automatically switched from the Secondary to Priority device when the Priority appliance calls for power.
For example, when the stove is turned on, the simpleSwitch 240 will automatically switch off the flow of electricity to the EV charger. When you turn off the stove, the simpleSwitch 240 will automatically switch power back to the EV charger.
simpleSwitch is designed to be used with appliances, motor loads (such as air conditioners), and as an electric vehicle energy management system (EVEMS).
Lower your electrical load calculation by managing your own power demand by using our energy management system (EMS) at Simple Switch Canada.
Feeder Monitoring
Monitor Energy Use With Full-Panel Sensing
Measures power load on the whole-panel and switches off the connected appliance if whole-panel load exceeds threshold (e.g. typically set to 80%).
The simpleSwitch 240CT will measure the power load on the service cables connected to the main breaker using current transformers (CTs). When whole-panel load exceeds 80% threshold simpleSwitch 240CT will temporarily switch off the power load of the appliance/device connected to the simpleSwitch 240CT (“Shed the Power”).
